Synopsis[]
Jared arrives at Luciva City. Jared can't find out how to get to the Pokémon Center. Team Rocket owns the bike shop, so he can't get in. Jared sees a sign with 'Gym' written on it. Jared thinks he will need Strength and Surf to get in! Jared finds a person who lies about him being allowed in the Manaphy Cave.
He finds Misty's gym. Jared doesn't know what to do. It is weird. Guidjuk appears and demands a fight. Jared tries to tell Guidjuk how weird everything is.
Pachifetch takes on Staravia. Pachifetch takes some heavy hits, and forgets that Staravia has Keen Eye. Jared needs to switch to Bidumb. Now Staravia uses Gust! Jared is in trouble. Jefina is sacrificed to buy the team so time. Jared apologizes to her. Derlen takes a lot of damage, but defeats Staravia.
Rattata is next, and almost kills Derlen. Fuhrdan double kick's Rattata out. Squirtle is next, and Fuhrdan double kicks it, hoping that it will do more than it did. Fuhrdan is killed by a Water Gun. No one has may hit points left, and Nokenil is then killed. Jared hopes that Pachifetch can get a critical hit, but it doesn't, and is also killed. Derlen gets a Quick Attack to defeat Squirtle. An Abra is the last Pokemon left, and all it knows is Teleport.
Jared survives! All his team get released, and Jared is upset that he is now down to two. Pachifetch was the weirdest thing he ever had, and was one of his best Pokémon. Jared wonders why it is always the starters that fall!
Jared walks across the bridge at Route 1024. There are a bunch of trainers there, and Jared can't fight them now. He heads back to Route 1004, and searches for a Pokemon. A Rattata appears, and Jared catches it.
