Synopsis[]
Jared continues playing spooky games for October. He will play Doom. This game gave Jared nightmares as a kid. He will play on Nightmare difficulty. This is a slightly updated version of Doom.
Jared becomes under attack very quickly, and loses half his health quickly - before being attacked by another enemy and dies very quickly. Jared tries again, changes his tactics, and doesn't do a whole lot better. Jared wants to beat the first stage. People used to do this with just crappy keyboard controls! Finally Jared beats the first stage!
Jared plays through the second level. Jared shoots many enemies all at once, and is worried that he didn't hit any of them. Jared beats the level, but didn't find any secrets.
He starts the third level by finding bullets, only to immediately panic as he is swarmed. He laughs at his quick failure. Jared shoots at a cross. This game made Jared confuse clips and magazines. Jared likes Doom Guy's shocked face. Jared successfully succeeds against killing impossible enemies. He finds a 'shotgun to death', and dies in blood. Jared uses a tree to cover. Jared tells himself not to stop as he passes through a wall. Jared holds his head in his hand in his failure.
Jared tries the fourth stage, and remembers it being so bad that he will die very quickly. He pretends to wait until the enemies kill each other. He doesn't survive past the first room.
Eventually, Jared gives up and turns on baby mode to see how easy it is. Jared played on this difficulty when he was 7 - because he was too young to die. It quickly becomes boring as the enemies don't even attack. Jared beats the level with over 100% health and 200% armor! Jared is ProBaby. Jared doesn't know how scary the game was, but he got spooked a few times. Jared tries to blow himself up with exploding barrels, but after blowing up 2, he still wasn't dead!
