Synopsis[]
Jared is on Route 10 searching for a new Pokémon. He finds an Eevee and is shocked and excited. It escapes from the Great Ball, so he switches to a Ultra Ball, which still doesn't work! The luxury ball works, and Jared is excited.
Jared is confused when he sees a Hawlucha. Jared likes seeing the new type combinations. Jared continues fighting wild Pokémon. He sees Teeckadee dancing on the Pokemon Amie screen. Jared is glad Sigilyph wasn't his first encounter as Chompit gets blown away. A second Sigilyph is found, which uses Air Cutter, killing Chompit! Jared is upset. All he wanted to do was chomp on things!
Jared puts Deimos into the party, and checks out Baby Doll Eyes. Jared heads back to the gym in Cyllage City, and takes on some trainers. Jared forgets that Solrock levitates, and Weplus is almost killed. Chinlo also takes heavy damage against the Solrock, but takes it out. Lunatone appears, and Jared is worried. Deimos gets in trouble, and Rathalos gets put to sleep. Jared wonders why the Psywave did so much damage. Teeckadee narrowly survives a Rock Throw.
Jared wants to not do anything, hoping the trainer gets bored and leaves. Flarnek bites Lunatone, flinching it. Flarnek takes the Lunatone out. Jared is relieved. Jared leaves.
